Water temp 66 at 9:30am. Fished until 4pm. I'm reporting a skunking from a surprising "catch". Attached to a 12" bass was about a 8" lamprey. I stopped by Tom's house. He had not seen one before in Murray but was aware of inland species. Yellowish brown in color with a lighter stomach.

Curious if anyone else has encountered lampreys at Murray. As a side note, while I was at the landing getting ready to leave, I watched someone planer board trolling land a really nice fish. Looked in the 45" range from my vantage point about 500' away.

I know somebody in the club that trolled up a 48" today… That was probably what you saw.

Thanks Scott. My "old eyes" from a distance were fairly accurate
