Fished Eagle from 5:30 to 9:30pm. Weeds progressing and clarity normal for this pond.
Hot evening with increasing clouds produced fish contact. Had a nice mid 40 inch fish swipe and miss a bait, biggest fish I’ve seen in this system. Ended day with a nice fat 33 inch GLS hitting the net.

The fish in eagle are all wisconsin northern strain fish we got with our muskie trade agreement with them. These fish were stocked in 2010 2013 and 2015. Only GLS stocked there were the ones last fall. The clear water makes their patterns pop pretty good on the smaller ones but you can definitely see the sconnie in them when they grow up.

I was going to comment on that because it seems several people in the club think the bigger fish are GLS and I was like what the ? I don't remember GLS ever being stocked until recently which would make the GLS fish like 20 inches
