Campau

Showed up this morning to Campau and found the dock pulled and the entire lake covered with 1/4 to 1/2” of ice.

Murray

Left Campau and went over to Murray. I didn’t have high hopes because of the sunny skies, but figured it was our only chance to get out there.

Water temp: 38-41 F
Air Temp: 30 F
Clarity: 8-10’ ( very clear)
Dock: Pulled out

Trolled for 3.5 hours. Was marking a lot of bait 15-25’ down. There were still some good green weeds in a few areas, mostly in the depths shallower than 18’. Focused on the areas with bait in 20-40’ of water and didn’t contact any fish. As I mentioned above, the bright sun didn’t help, but the lake was open. I did spot a couple Skis on the side imaging but couldn’t get any to hit. Still had a fun morning with my brother-in-law.
