Fished 7am to 3pm in The flooding and above
Water temp at 76 in the am and 78 in the pm.
Still very clear water with little color to it.
Went up for a quick day trip. Fished bucktails almost exclusively. Moved a good number of fish but the lack of clouds made for some pretty tough fishing. It was obvious that only the double ten blades were getting any kind of attention so it was just a matter of elimination after the first few hours. We had 4 muskies eat all on double tens with some kind of orange in the skirt. Boated two nice sub 40 inchers and a couple pike, one of which was pretty large. Also to note, the horseflies were the worst I’ve seen in a few years.
