Weeds are a little behind normal but there are some good cabbage stands in front of bags in the 13ft range and the grass is green by the narrows. The weeds by the river mouth are still sub par but holding some life.
Fished 6am-2pm.
Mostly trolled but casted the weed spots for a bit. No muskies seen. Caught a fair amount of large pike on suicks and rubber. I haven’t been in the river but have heard that there’s been a fair number up spawning in the last week. Should be go time in skeg in another week or so I’d presume.
