Heavy mayfly hatch
Trolled exclusively. Took a while to find the edges where baitfish we’re feeding on the hatch. Found some activity on the graph after a couple hours and made a depth adjustment on baits that paid off within 100 yards of getting reset. It was pretty hectic getting her in with the three lines out but I put a thick 51.5” beauty in the bag on a jointed 8” Kirby. Bittersweet moment for me considering the amount of time I’ve put out there over the years and it was also the last lake of the lower chain that I needed to boat a fish from. It made the hour spent vacuuming mayflies from the boat this morning worth it.
