Fished late evenings each day
Water temps are 74-77
Water clarity is still pretty clear for this time of year but I noticed a substantial difference in the deeper water Sunday night that looked way better in my opinion at 8-10ft. The bait has been pretty steady in the 25-45 ft range on lakes that those depths are available and it’s all been consistently high in the water column. Friday we had one real good rip that must have just nipped at the bait which wasn’t surprising since the bluebird weather has been a constant. Saturday and Sunday were tough and didn’t have any action either day. One thing to note, always be aware of your surroundings. I had an extremely close call with a pontoon boat that came within 5ft of my bow as he passed by while I was trolling. If I wouldn’t have stopped the boat it would have been a disaster. He never seen me nor did the other ten people on his boat. I let him know my displeasure.
