Weeds: Dead and gone
No 2020 thread yet so I'll throw this up here. Hate to say it but I think this might have been my last chance on the water until spring unless we get some crazy warm up soon. Fished a full day in the mixed sleet and freezing rain. The entire north arm is locked up as well as the south end up to the outlet of the grass river. Temps were hovering just above 32 so I would imagine it'll be locked up for good by this weekend. Casted mostly rubber with a short trolling break for lunch. Nothing going at all, not even a pike, which is rare for out there. Weeds are all died down and non existent for the most part and I had a hard time finding any of the usual open water bait. May have one last Torch Hail Mary in me if we get a warmer weekend soon but I think it might be time to call it a season…
