Fished 9a-3p. Water temps 62. Weed growth what I remember from past years, thick in places and sporadic in most. First trip there this year. Only highlight was a 37" musky that fought hard, and made a spectacular out of the water jump near the boat. Trolling a spoonplug, trying to keep it just above the short grass in 12'. First one at Campau to make it to the net for me.

Hit Campau yesterday (10/13) from 9am-6pm. Water temps were 55-58, weeds are still looking good and smelling terrible, and water clarity was 6' or so with a typical brown tint. One of the longer days I've fished on a SW lake in awhile, but it was perfect weather to be out. 2 fish found their way to the net with another lost and a couple other close calls.
