Spent the week hammering the water. Trolled and casted for about 65-70 hours and hit a bunch of different lakes but mainly focused on the big fish lakes. Weather wasn't terrible but the rain was somewhat annoying. Honestly it was an absolute grind and frustrating at times. Tried everything I could think of that I thought would produce but ended up with just one bite all week. Had a 47 eat a pounder at the boat on bellaire on Thursday evening. With a lot o luck I managed to keep her on all the way into the net despite being just barely hooked. She was well built and beautiful. Future fifty pounder for sure. Although the fishing was lackluster it was still very enjoyable and I couldn't think of one other place I'd like to spend that time at.
