Creeping the boat along and fishing skinny water, I was investigating a big school of bluegills when a 38 incher half-spooked away from the boat. Wondering if he was just hanging out with the gills and enjoying the thin layer of 58 degree water pushed up on shore, or if he had bad intentions I looped and around and covered the area for several minutes. I got my answer when he exploded out of the dingy brown water about 15 feet directly in front of me, and ate one of the bluegills out of the school that I had pushed his way instead of my bait.

Pretty sweet to see, and pretty typical muskie behavior. Nice to see they haven't changed. Lovely evening to be on the water though, thank you CIR!
