Ok…. I’ll bite on this. Caleb and I have been there the past 2 Saturday’s. Water temps in the mid to upper 60’s. We found some decent cabbage which was holding fish. We fished the US side for the opener only moving a few and getting one mid 30” fish to bite.
This past Saturday we went as Far East as we could and fished a steady 2’ chop all day. Caleb got a couple mid 30”ers, with one being a beautiful tiger! The wind kicked up a couple notches at last light and we rode out in 3’ seas for just over an hour to get back to the launch.
I can personally attest to the MMA single handedly ruining all musky fishing in LSC as evidenced by the “Big Three” guides boating over 12 50+” fish in the first week of the season.
