Super stoked for the last opening day of musky season ever! Really surprised at the lack of boats out today, especially given the beautiful conditions.

Clear and cool to start the day, but quickly warmed up with a gentle SW breeze. Calm, sunny weather got the fish moving in shallow water and the slight breeze helped turn them on to get crushing suspending twitch baits worked quickly.

Had more fun catching several prespawn pigs than should even be legal. The super quick and easy successful releases made it all the sweeter, not to mention the fact we didn’t suffer with any idiot LSC musky guides all day!
