Fished: 10:30am – 5pm
Temp: 38
Clarity: 3-5' depending on location
Weeds: Pondweed, milfoil, and coontail all still around

Fished the North channel with my brother as we needed to get out one more time with the decent weather. Wanted to launch at the North Channel DNR ramp, but it is closed December-April so we headed back down and launched at Deckers. Fished medussas, pounders, professors, and swimbaits. Caught a couple pike on professors and missed an unknown fish on a pounder. In the last hour of the trip, my brother saved the day by getting a nice spotty on a perch colored pounder. The weather looks decent this coming weekend so we might get out again, but it's always nice getting a fish in late december!

Fished LSC again yesterday with my brother. Focused on the channels again, but did venture into Anchor bay a little bit too. Water was 37-38 still, but was a lot clearer than last time. Moved one bass and a tiny muskie. No other contacts are fish caught. Still great to be on the water in January!
