Since moving to this area last year I've logged hours in the bayous …. in and around other stocking locations, lots of water to learn with little success ( just a couple of sightings ). One may have been a following pike. Launched in Petty's (Spring Lake) yesterday to bass fish with my wife. After teaching her how to drive the boat in the main basin, I turned into another small bayou tossing a white spinner bait. Couple casts in attacked by a HOT 39-40" GLS. Ended up getting her on the 8. Guess I need to "bass fish" more……lots of luck getting it in the net too.
