Weeds – well developed cabbage and milfoil in many areas
Clarity – 1 ft in main river and as clear as 10' in certain backwaters

Went looking for spotteds or lost NMUS trickle downers. Didn't find any. Ended up catching 6 largemouth and 6 pike on various twitch and jerk baits. Witnessed epic schools of cruising suckers, millions of shiners, rafts of scattering bluegills, giant carp spawning everywhere and located large quantities of spawning gizzard shad. Quite a muskie buffett down there.
