Water Temps 45-48
Weeds have not started yet.

I had the chance to head down to Indiana on Saturday with a couple buddies, one total newbie. We spent most of our time on the Chain, where we moved one decent fish on Sawmill, but no action on any of the other lakes.

We moved to Webster later in the day, and went 1-4, and moved a couple more. Everything we saw was upper 20" to low 30", which tells me there there is some good fishing coming in the future. We actually had a double header at one point, and managed to lose both. I've never had that before. Felt like Will S for a second………….
We threw mostly glides and twitch baits, with some swim baits and small blades mixed in. It was great to be out again, and I'm looking forward to head back in a few weeks.

Don and I were on the barbee chain mainly Kuhn most the day. We moved a couple on Kuhn and a giant pike that wouldn't bite either. It was definitely slow! If you used the launch at Kuhn did you guys see a huge pool of blood in the parking lot??

We used a private launch, so didn't see the blood. Kinda creepy! You never know what you're going to see in Indi! [smilie=crazy.gif]
