Spent a couple days over the forth and explored the iron river area. Water temps were low 70's. Weeds were plentiful everywhere. Found some fish in a couple lakes/river and fished our way back home Wednesday. We boated three up to 45" and lost one with a few other missed. Had action on glides twitch baits and bucktails. Turned out to be mostly a recon mission for future trips. Seen some things that make me want to come back. If you're looking for a good hotel in that area I would recommend the chicaguan lake in. It's clean, boat friendly and the staff are great people.
