7/29 Evening

Dollarville Flooding- Temp 74-76

Had the usual five or so follows. Buddy hooked up with a nice 38 , and a fat 44….one of the better ones we have seen come out of the flooding.

7/30 Morn

Grassy- Temp 76-79

Good Weed growth throughout, the usual clarity. Got out bright and early had the lake to ourselves. Couldnt connect and called it a day after 4 hours and moved down the road to…..

McKeever- Temp 75-78

Looked great as usual. Moved a couple of fish off the weedbed that juts out from point across from the access site. Quite a few boats out there. Some work being done on the way to Mckeever looks like they may be making an access road to the campsite that is on the point. I give that a thumbs down.

7/30 Evening

Dollarville Flooding-Temp 74-76
Tired of going fishless in the morning. Made it back out on the river around 5pm. My buddy again had the hot hand and put a 38 and 41 in the net within 30 minutes of our arrival. Had 4 more follows over the course of the next three hours but no luck. Twas looking like a lost cause for me when the magic happened. With about 20 minutes of light left I netted a pretty 38 incher and within the next 10 casts was able to bag a 39 and a 41. All fish came on the 8 and were hyper aggressive. One even breached the water when i got a little speedy with my 8. Great end to the night.

7/31 Morn

Munoscong- Temp 63-67

Clarity pretty gnarly near shore but improved as we moved further out.
Moved on to some bigger water and hopes of bigger fish…….I suck at this place. The weeds I can find are stringy and sparse. Threw everything I had at them and came away empty. I love this place but have always struck out.

7/31
Black- Temps 75-79
First time targeting Muskys on black. Launched at the mouth of the Black River and concentrated on the weeds in the northern part of the lake. Fished 8-20 fow. Couple of needle dick pike were all that we could muster.

Great trip overall and beats working any day!!!!
