Beautiful afternoon on the water. Had a couple prototype cranks sent to me from Canada and took em for a swim. Trolled around for a bit looking for the matriarch of the lake but only found a bunch of atlantics huddled up in one spot. Might have to go and catch them up while the weather is decent. I know the odds are against me and I really dont know where to start out there this time of year but I enjoy every miserable fishless hour.
OK, I'm going to sound like Mom for a minute… if you're going to be in your boat alone and even if you have someone with you once the water is below 50 degrees you need to be wearing this – please!
In 36 degree water you'll only be capable of swimming a couple hundred yards without an anti exposure suit.
