Clarity: 8ish feet or so. Clearer in some areas
Weeds: Best year I've seen as far as weed growth goes out there. Cabbage out to 17' and the usual 10-12' cabbage flats are as thick as always.

Have not been posting many reports this year as its been a rough year on Skeg as usual and I don't want to bore everyone with all my skunkings. Lots of time on water with little to no action outside of the many pike and giant bucktail eating smallmouth. Been splitting most of my time on the water between Skeg and Elk for most of the summer. Finally got one right at sunset. Nice, thick fish that ate as the bait hit the water. Must have dropped it right on her head cause the second I closed the bail the fish was on. Felt good to get the Skeg monkey off my back…now I just need to get one on Elk.
