Fished Margrethe on Thursday for about 4 hours. Water temp was 51-53. Second time on the lake and it was a great morning to learn the lake more. No muskies were contacted but I was able to get an hour of smallie fishing in before I left and caught a couple chunks. Fished Cooke Pond near Oscoda on Sunday since I was there all weekend doing some bass fishing with my bros. water temps were the same, 51-53, and the results were the same. Did fish some awesome looking cabbage in 6-12 fow and was able to mark some other good looking stuff for next time. The winds paid me back on Fri-Sunday after a calm morning on Thursday.
