Wt 72-76 depending on where on the lake you are.
Weeds are outstanding in a couple spots.
Been hitting the water here as much as I can trying to get that first fish on this body of water off the list. There's been a lot of perch holding in the 30ft range in many spots. Been trolling mostly but have casted as well. Still no muskie contacts. Did get a roughly 29-30 inch walleye 18ft down over 120 ft of water tonight though. Pretty impressive that she hit such a big bait that at high Of a speed.
That's awesome. Bet you thought it was a musky at first. Plus, being on Elk, I would've thought……oh man here we go!
I've caught my biggest Walleye (28.5") and bass ( 23.5", 8lbs 10oz.)musky fishing. I would suspect that many other musky fisherman have too. Might be a cool thread to start
