With the warm water temps on the usual lakes I decided to hit the cooler waters with my cousin Max who just got in from New Hampshire and of course Sam as well. So I decided why not mess around on torch considering the bluebird skies and hot weather. Max has been keeping a steady tradition of boating fish every summer when he comes here and aparently his luck hasn't ran out. Didn't have much of a game plan but did find schools of bait in a really fishy looking area and focused my efforts there. We ended up boating a real nice fish over top of the schools of bait and max got to keep his streak going and crush his personal best on our first trip of his visit. It was bittersweet moment for me. I've been out there and put some time in here and there and it was awesome to finally get one with my two favorite people in my life. Now I have a starting point for a successful future I hope!!
