Wasn't out very long. In fact I went out to troll giving the bluebird sky's calm wind and clear water and put one in the net in less than 100 yards after getting baits set. Good news is Sam got her new personal best. It was one of those fish of a lifetime ordeals and I'm really happy to have shared in the experience with her. It was immediately evident that the fish was of mammoth proportion as soon as I handed her the rod. I don't think she will stop smiling for years to come. I will post a photo or two after I do some resizing and what not but the particulars are 55 and 3/4" long by 25" girth.
