Got one last crack at Sanford before it is drawn down for dam repairs, and it turns out it would not have been in prime condition for the outing this Saturday anyway. An algae bloom has visibility at about 1 foot over most of the lake, which made it tough to keep baits out of the weeds and at the very least made it less enjoyable to fish! Water was 72 first thing in the morning, warmed up to 75. I toyed with 2 different fish on the sonar while jigging in the river channel, don't think they were muskies and didn't see any others.
