Fished Ovid for the 1st time this year. We fished from 6:30am to 1pm. Bass tourney from 7am-noon changed the way I wanted to fish.The water clarity was amazingly clear for the end of June. I've only ever experienced that type of clarity on Ovid once before. Water surface temps 76. Eurasian milfoil is taking over the lake. Many new areas that are un-fishable. Thought it was going to be one of those special days as we had 3 come to the boat in the first hour but no such luck. Good musky fishing weather though.
