nothing couldn't find anything anywhere, tried a little bit of everything. Tried something new in the back water, Could see something in the water about 500yds away, couldn't figure out what it was, got closer and it was a dead doe about 150' off shore. Don't know if she died of old age, arrow or gun. So I got this idea and started making cast's around her thinking Surf n Turf!!
You never know what you'll find in a lake or river. I seem to recall epizootic hemorrhagic disease (EHD) being pretty bad down there a few years ago. This would cause her to go to water because of fever, many of the deer that get EHD end up dying in the water. You may want to give a call to the park and report where you saw her. The local DNR wildlife guys may or may not want to get samples from that deer to test for EHD if there are no external signs of a wound from hunting.
