I heard half of the club was on Murray Saturday, and without seeing photos of fish being passed around, I was hoping they would be biting. My niece wanted to see what muskie fishing is all about, so we headed to Murray in hopes having her at least see a fish. After some quick instruction on casting and figure 8's, we were pounding water. We move 3 on gliders, and Caleb converted the only bite we had. The "bite", was actually his PB, launching itself 3' out of the water, and cartwheeling 10', before he set the hook, on one of the best hits I've ever seen! Katelyn happened to be looking right at Caleb's lure when the fish hit and went airborne. It was a great to she her reaction to all of it, from the bite to the celebration. She's already planning our next trip.
