Fished 1100 to 230, water clear, weeds maybe better/greener than most Decembers with the mild weather. Didn't get surface temp, I'd guess 38-40, portable unit for my jon-boat didn't work despite new batteries. Clear water and sun helped to see main drop off and kept boat around it. Should not have put the trailered boat away for the season it turns out, my rare use of the jon-boat and its accessories usually shows something I didn't maintain well.

Managed to boat small fish only, one more respectable one from the first stocking shook off at boatside. Beautiful day and just thankful to be casting for Esox in December. I wanted to get to the lure swap the day before but couldn't. I hope it went well and thanks to those who make that happen each year, always a great event.
