Fished there on Sunday for five hours and didn't see anything! Maybe I'm a bad judge, but clarity only seemed to be 1-2' on Sunday. Fished grandmas, teardrop, jerkos, suicks, little claws, shallow raiders, etc.

You shouldn't have to judge. Take a whit lure drop it down until it disappeares, pick it up and the amount of line you have out is the clarity.

I did that with my orange Jerko, but then just eyeballed the amount of line I had out haha.

I see now, you're a bad judge of line length not the depth of clarity. LOL

Maybe because you were fishing all the same stuff I did the day before. [smilie=biggrin.gif] I found 2 eaters, 1 of which was a solid mid-upper 40's. Now the dumb part – One fish ate a baby shallow-raider, the other a 9" Granny. Both of these lures were new to me, given by Nick Day because he thought they were cursed. I had just assumed that Nick had taken a file to the hooks, but they ended up being about as dull as my sense of humor so neither fish made it to the net. [smilie=bangtard.gif] Thanks for the lures tho Nick! They work just dandy. [smilie=brows.gif]

That's awesome Jim. I'd recommend changing out those spring steel hooks that I put on those two.
