Weeds are dead and very short. Little bit of chara still greenish in the junk weeds.

Spent most of the day Saturday pounding the water with Chris, Matt, Ryan, and Brad. We only had one confirmed bite mid day and proceeded to get blown off the lake mid afternoon in the wind that seemed quite a bit stronger than forecasted.

Sunday was a little better. Met Doug at the ramp early morning and fished all day in one of the most beautiful November days you could ask for. We worked hard for fish and managed to go 3 for 3 and all of them were nice fish. After catching 3 fish in 40 minutes we seemed to have drawn the attention of a few other boats that turned the spot into a whirlpool as they made multiple circles around our boat. All fish contacted were on big rubber.

One thing to note is that Chippewa county recently completed a great new access site on the north end of the bay, located at the end of S Scenic dr in barbeau. Bad news is the two launch docks were already pulled and the shoreline is very rocky making it a little sketchy. This site has great access to the big water as it is right at the mouth of the st Mary's dumping into the bay.
