Caleb and I had a weekend blowout on LSC for the weekend. We started Friday evening at Crocker, lost the inner hub on my prop, so we were only able to travel at very slow speed, and a short distance. I had a 50" eat a Joel Vande Kopple double nine on the first drift. That is my first 50", so we were super stoked! We moved a few more fish on the next few drifts, but called it a day so we would be rested for Saturday.
I had purchased a trip with Fins and Grins thru Spencer Berman for Caleb's high school graduation for the day. We ended up going 7-9, with Caleb scoring another PB of 43". I was also fortunate to get a 53", pig to smash a Medusa boat side. We fished really hard, had a great time, and the trip back across the lake was full of high fives, fist pumps, and hand shakes!
We went back to Crocker Sunday to finish the weekend. We moved two good fish on gliders during a wind switch, and circled back to them after a few minutes. We got both fish to eat Weagles, 3 cast apart.
We ended for the weekend with 8 fish between Caleb and I. 4 over 40", 2 over 50". We stopped for lottery tickets on the way home!!! Stay tuned……
A huge thank you to Jason Quintano for the job he did for us Saturday. If you are considering a trip to LSC, look into Spencer's Angling Adventures , and request Jason. He is the MAN!
