Fished 1230pm to 9pm, surface temps 74-78, clarity variable including nice filth increasing in some areas, weeds good including some deeper ones away from main edge. Got a decent one in the net early in the outing and no more musky contact after that, did get a nice pike later.

Visited here at the tail end of the last cool weather snap and same deal, just one contact but at least it ate. Big fish, thought I'd get her in the net but blew it. I fell to my knees completely heartbroken and have replayed it in my mind over and over since, as I know probably everyone on this site can relate to.

Good job on Thorn, Joe! I have also had my large-muskie moments that would have been sweeter with a different shake of the head. I am replaying a couple on Murray right now.

I was there this morning as well. Moved a few fish, one made it in the bag. It was the darkest, blind in one eye, oldest mid 30" fish I've ever seen. Release was good.
All fish were in the slop.
