So I may have unlocked the secret to catching muskies on Hamlin……
1)Find a weird hat, don't ask, just do it!
2)Take only your bass tackle…. Especially 3/8oz spinnerbaits
3)Fish sand against sea walls on Upper Hamlin
4)Photograph and release.
Anybody can do this!!!! My father and his friend caught a 41" last night using this method.

meh wake me up when they catch another one and prove it isn't a fluke [smilie=brickwall.gif] . In all seriousness I did hear about quite a few fish caught on tipups this winter and fish seen in spearing shacks, some were killed of course, none legal or tagged. I heard a kid caught one off a dock in north bayou last week too.
