Water temp 63-64
Weeds- Cabbage still looking pretty good.
fished 7:30-7:30

Finally took a day off deer hunting preparation to get a day on the lake. With the cold night and bright sun I knew we could be in for a tough day, and I was right, sorta. The first 8 hours were terrible but they turned on the last 4 hours. Put 4 in the net and missed a couple, saw maybe a dozen total. All but one ate boatside including a crazy sequence where I had a fish scream in after a bucktail, flair at the boat, come back in but not eat. Threw a twitch bait back to it and proceeded to play cat and mouse for a full 2 minutes or so with the fish nipping and snaking on the bait continuously as we drifted in the wind but never fully connecting. Then the fish disappeared and ate my buddies bulldawg on the other side of the boat that he was just lightly jigging about 6 feet down. Didn't see anything real big but put a thick fish in the 40s in the bag.

Nice work! Way to grind it out. LSC has been really tough since the cold front last week, so bagging 4 is really good!!!
