Water temps 6/13 (71), 6/14 (65-70)
Water was typical AB clarity, depending on where we were.
Strong west wind and overcast Friday. Bluebird special Saturday.
We fished from 6:00PM -9:30 PM ON Friday, and 6:00AM – 9:00PM Saturday. We found active fish in 6-7 FOW Friday evening. We went 2-4 on smaller blades (Burcher 700/Showgirls),and gliders. We started in the same area Saturday morning, and lost a couple fish right off the bat on gliders. We didn't see a lot of activity after 11:00 AM. We searched other areas and depths throughout the day, but never really found anything as good as the shallow, weedy area we started in. The water temps dropped significantly when we got farther into the Bay/Lake. We ended 1-8, with all smaller fish in the boat. Lots of nippers and lazy follows. Caleb did lose a MONSTER on a spinnerbait in 6 FOW, maybe the largest fish we've seen in both weekends on AB! It was great just to see such a beast!!! Overall a fun, yet very challenging weekend.
I've now burned my "fun tickets" for this month, before the AB outing. Bummer!!! If you are going to fish, I'm guessing you'll do well, and somebody is going to join the 50" club!
Tight lines!

Great job, Mike! Always great to see a monster. (It's even better when you're looking at her in the bottom of the net, tho. [smilie=biggrin.gif] ) Now get back to building some houses!
