I loaded up the boat and decided to head down there knowing that the ice in the channel to the access might be too thick to launch, and unfortunately it was. The lake itself is wide open, but that channel is locked up pretty tight. I drove around the lake looking for any other possible option to launch but ended up giving up and headed home. Hopefully with this warm up it will thaw that ice so I can get a few more trips in.
