Fished with my son for whatever bit on the east side of lower Hamlin. Basically fished from North Bayou almost to Middle Bayou staying in 9-13 fow. Raised five fish, none definitively muskies that I could tell in the churned-up water, caught one 24-inch northern pike on a white-belly perch Bobbie and had two other hard hits, also on the Bobbie. We ran out of clouds and got tired of the one-footers so we called it a little early. Best to leave before the kids are sighing too heavily.
Nothing ate my shiny new Rollie's custom Mag Dawg in white-belly perch but it sure looks pretty coming through the water!
