Yes, I did, I saw a 24-inch musky trying to inhale a white M/G spinnerbait today.
Schmucked a deer on the way to the lake so we didn't launch until 7 a.m. Caught a 16-inch bass on a softtail phantom near North Bayou then headed for a point I wanted to try before the jet skiers woke up on the upper lake.
Then my son started looking spent so I said, "Let's go try for pike." The pike waters are basically north and east of Wilson Hill Park — lots of cabbage and some coontail. Raised two pike and the skinny little musky. Unmistakable.
Anyway, there's a light bloom on the upper lake and all the traffic you'd associate with the terrorist, err, tourist, season.
$250 deductible should cover the front-end damage to the tow vehicle but I'm not going to Tahquamenon soon, I don't think. Damn it.
