Clarity: A little stained but pretty clear, maybe 6-8' or so
Weeds: Nice weeds for this early in some shallower areas

Hit Budd up with Chris Sunday and fished 8AM to 5PMish. Got one early, maybe 15 minutes into the morning. Thought it was going to be a great day after that first fish came so quickly but it slowed down substantially after that. Chris moved another fish or two a little later in the morning but that was the only action of the day. Didnt have any action all afternoon. Saw a couple other muskie boats out there and talked to one boat and they fished Budd both Saturday and Sunday with only a few fish seen and no eaters.

Was nice to get that Margrethe skunk off the back and considering my first fish last year wasnt until late July, I am pretty happy about this year's opener.
