On and off rain showers with a few downpours
Water clarity very good for tahq river but no sun to penetrate

Started fishing around 8:00am and fished til 12:30pm. Nobody wants to give away or talk about great fishing spots but this one has been very good lately for me. And why not share with fellow musky guys that will catch and release anyway. Saw countless musky, over 15 fish if not 20, again for the second time in less than a week. This is in the upper river above the Dollarville dam area. Lots of follows. Lots! Hooked seven fish from what I can remember and boated 4. All fish seem to be around 38-42in in this area, but hey, I can handle catching 40" musky all day long. All but one fish ended up getting hooked on figure 8, long figure 8's! Lots of fun. Would be a great place to take a first timer or someone just looking for some action, which is what I needed lately.
