Fished 8am-4PM. Water temp 63. Visibility 12-15'. 5-10 mph wind out of the West.

Didn't see any muskie, or fish of any kind for that matter, but I marked lots of baitfish on the two humps by the military base. Marked lots of fish in 20-30' all over the lake. Walleye maybe? It doesn't matter.

This is a beautifully clear lake. I was very impressed with it and will be returning

And there's nothing like fishing with the sounds of 5.53 in the background from the military base. Or as I like to call it, the sounds of freedom Cool

I have fished the crap out of that lake last fall and this spring/summer and caught two Northern Pike. There are some great looking areas but No fish. Saw two muskies early this yr before season while cruising my boat in shallows and looking at stuff, so I know there are a few there but very hard to locate. Water is always clear…..wait until November, can see 15-20ft when water is cold. Good luck on Margrethe.
