Decided to take a break from fishing the Tahq. Was a little worried about kaunching and seeing launch did not alleviate my fears. It looks like they have put rocks in at the rnd of the pads so the steep drop i was fearing wasn't there. My buddies pick-up handled the sand like a champ. Temos were in the low 70's throughout the evening and the weeds in the section by the launch were in full effect. After searching around we found some depth in one if the nack corners. Had a low 40's/upper 30's follow off some weeds near shore. Then proceeded to have a few misses on a hellhound. A few more contacts throughout the evening but nothing in the boat. Can't imagine how cool of a lake this would be with normal water levels……
