Water temps low 70s, color/clarity vomit-like as usual here, and scummy weeds expected shallow were not evident like in past visits including last early fall. Fished 730am to 2pm.

Got one in the net and lost one, will take it after the first fall effort last weekend was a humbling on Thorn. One other note besides the lack of weeds even for this swill-water lake is that in watching majors and minors for several years now, and getting probably half my chances at those times on other waters and half not at those times, the windows on Diane for me have literally not been on majors or minors at all. This includes today with the two fish on in a brief random window well after the major and without even a slight weather change around the mid-day time it occurred.
