Fished 7:30 am to 4 pm, nice morning and cold rain in the afternoon not bad either, but called it a day in with fairly heavy snow starting around 4. Water 46 degrees, swillish but maybe as good as visibility gets here, over a foot. Few shallow scummy weeds left.

Good day as three hit the net, and missed two others that ate. One of those boated was a nicer one for Diane, a 41 inch porky. Very interesting as all five hits were in the same spot, or at least fairly small area, have never had all contact on a good day anywhere all be in the same specific place on a lake. After two ate there I did fish the living hell out of it again and again all day, but still moved around to rest it and also thinking activity was good so other spots should produce. But they didn't. Guessing the shad had congregated more in that place for some reason, and hopefully it happens again sometime.
