Temps: Ranged from 69 near shore to 65 further out in the bay.
Weeds: Good weed growth, nearly to surface in shallower areas. lots of floating weeds and surface junk which made working some areas frustrating
Clarity: 3-6 feet
Headed out to Anchor Bay, put in at Selfridge and started drifting the Northern part of the bay. Wind was out of the North at a steady 8-10. Probably 12-15 follows from 9-11am. My brother hooked a nice smallie and rock bass both on a double 8. I hooked and lost a very nice northern at the boat due to a netting issue, haha. We estimated the pike to be high 30" to low 40". Never boated a Musky, but saw some really nice fish. We had a few strikes but it seemed as though the fish were a bit pressured which was evident by the amount of boat traffic. Water clarity seemed to be the key in locating the muskies. Not many fishing for musky that we could see, but the smallie fisherman were out in force! All in all a fun day for our first time to LSC.
