pikerule2 and I fished Thornapple for the morning. Nada on fish in the net but did catch a pike on one of the prototype Talonz jerk baits. Water was a little too clear for the bright skies. Fish were Lazy and slow. Always a pleasure to fish with such a good fisherman. Outstanding boat control and positioning and I really like that little Crestliner. Fish moved on Claws and Top water. I did feel a little nip on a buck tail and lost part of a grub tail on that bump. Never felt a fish though. Weed lines are defined and emergent. Mike
Great conversations about important topics helps to pass the time. The Thornapple Muskies have never been easy but they were where we thought they would be.
