Not as cold as forecasted. Snow on Murray early little sprinkles rest of the day. Calm and niceby days end. Fished with group of 4 boats on Murray and boated a 40 early with several fish seen/followed shallow. Moved to thorn after lunch again raised several fish . Got hooks into a nice fish late on thorn but didn't stick. Not a bad opening days worth of action finished off with a hand crafted brew at the Waldorf in Hastings.
