Fished with The Chief(Mitch) on Murray. Water temps 67 to 69 good clarity about 8 feet stained in some spots. The morning peak produced a missed strike for Mitch right at 6:30. Fish just missed the lure. Unreal. We went on to move a good number of real good fish with the Noon peak showing us another 5 fish two of which were real good ones. Did some trolling and noticed lots of forage and bigger fish stacking up in 20 to 40 feet but no thermal yet any deeper. The open water water bite is going to be mid to late June. Mitch is a new member and a great guy. He is learning the sport and doing well. He just missed getting his 1st musky and the way he is going that hurdle wont take him long. Ill be fishing with him again. Mike
